Author Submissions
We welcome submissions of fiction, non-fiction, and children’s books that reflect Muslim experiences, values, and creativity. Review our guidelines and send us your work. We’d love to hear from you!
We accept submissions for:
Picture books & board books, Chapter books, Middle-grade & YA fiction
To submit, please email salaam@salaamcherry.com with:
1. A cover letter (in the email body)
2. A short author bio (in the email body)
3. A one-page synopsis (attached)
4. The first 3 chapters or ~5,000 words (attached)
Please note that, as we are a small but dedicated team, it is not always possible to reply individually to each and every submission. If you don’t hear from us in 12 weeks, please assume we’re not moving forward.
